Schalke agree deal for Hamburg defender

Schalke have revealed that they are poised to seal the deal for Hamburg defender Dennis Aogo. The 27 year old has been on loan at the club since August.

Aogo joined Hamburg in 2008 before moving to Schalke last summer after falling out with the club. Even though he is currently out with a torn cruciate ligament injury the royal blues confirmed the deal for the defender.



This is what Schalke Sporting director was quoted as saying on the club’s official website,



"All parties have reached agreement on the details,"



"All that’s missing now are the signatures."



The initial deal is for three years with an option of an extra year should both parties agree.
