Schalke confirm Draxler can leave

Schalke coach Jens Keller has confirmed that Julian Draxler could leave the club should his buyout clause be met. The 20 year only signed a new contract last year to keep him at the Veltins Arena till 2018.

Club’s sporting director Horst Heldt last month confirmed that they rejected a bid for the starlet, however he did not reveal from whom.



This is what Keller told German Newspaper Bild about the whole situation,



"I am delighted that we have him on board for the second half of the season but, because of his clause, he can leave when a club puts the money on the table,"



"That's why I can't plan with him, because it is just not in my or our hands.



Arsenal from the Premier League and German Champions Bayern Munich have been credited with an interest in the attacking midfielder.
