Chelsea are understood to be readying a mega bid to secure the services of Real Madrid's French centre-back Rafael Varane in the summer.
The 20-year-old has been one of the revelations in the La Liga since his debut for Los Blancos in 2011 and is expected to play a big part for the French national side in the World Cup finals in Brazil, should he regain full fitness.
According to Sport, the Blues boss Jose Mourinho is keen on a reunion with the talented defender and is likely to trigger the player's buy-out clause of £25m during the summer transfer window.
Varane has been capped four times by the French senior side.
