Chelsea star dismisses exit talks

24 February 2014 - 12:27

Cameroonian striker Samuel Eto'o has dismissed rumours linking him with an exit from Chelsea at the end of the season.

  • Fabrizio Romano updates on Nicolas Jackson's future at Chelsea
  • Arsenal suffer big injury blow ahead of Fulham game
  • The 32-year-old forward had been linked with a summer exit from the Blues, with his current contract expiring at the end of the season.

However, Eto'o clarified his future by insisting that he is happy at the West London club and is not considering a transfer in the summer.

"False and degrading information has been published about me," the former Anzhi man posted on Instagram. "I just want to remind to all that I have a tremendous love for Chelsea. I have a lot of respect for my leaders and teammates."

Eto'o has notched up 8 goals in 27 games for the Blues so far this term.
