Nigel De Jong to reject Liverpool transfer switch

AC Milan midfielder Nigel De Jong will reject the advances of Liverpool and instead decide to stay in Serie A and continue playing at the San Siro. Liverpool had been linked with a 12 million Euro offer for the holding midfielder.

With Brendan Rodgers actively seeking a new midfielder to add to his squad in the summer, the Anfield giants are believed to have tabled a bid for the former Manchester City star.

Despite AC Milan seemingly haven rejected all approaches for the Dutchman so far, it appears that time is running out for Liverpool in their hunt to sign the City star.

AC Milan manager Clarence Seedorf has told De Jong that he will be an integral part of his squad this season and for the coming years ahead.
