Arsene Wenger could leave the Gunners in the summer

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger could leave the club at the end of the season, amid reports suggesting of the Frenchman's reluctance to commit to a £160,000 a week deal agreed in principle last December.

  • The 64-year-old could make way from North London in the summer, if he were to fail to secure a major trophy for the club this season, according to The Sun.

The Gunners have failed to pick up any piece of silverware since their FA Cup victory over Manchester United in 2005 and Wenger is understood to be keen to end the club's nine year trophy drought, with the FA Cup and Premier League still within reach.

Arsenal will continue their surge for the Premier League crown with an away fixture at Stoke City later today.
