Hull City are believed to be interested in landing the signature of Arsenal's out-of-favour defender Johan Djourou in the summer, according to The Mirror.

The Swiss international is currently plying his trade with Hannover on a season-long loan deal, and has expressed his desire to seal a permanent switch to the Bundesliga side recently.



However, The Mirror claims that the Tigers boss Steve Bruce is preparing a bid in the region of £2.6m for the talented centre-back, as he prepares to strengthen the club's defensive setup for the next season.



Djourou has made just 86 appearances for the Gunners first team since his debut in 2004.
