Everton boss Roberto Martinez is looking the prospect of landing the signature of on-loan midfielder Gareth Barry on a permanent deal worth £8m in the summer.
Barry, who joined the Toffees on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City, has been impressive form through out the season, catching the eye of Arsenal who are also interested in signing him up for the next campaign.
The Sunday People, claims that Toffees will make offer a three-year deal to the veteran midfielder with a weekly wage structure of around £50,000-a-week.
It will be interesting to see whether Barry is willing to take a pay-cut to join the Merseyside outfit, with several big clubs rumoured to be interested in signing him up on a free in the summer.
