Newcastle scouting Dutch starlet Quincy Promes

Newcastle's head scout Graham Carr has been monitoring the progress of 22-year-old Dutch under-21 winger Quincy Promes, currently playing for FC Twente.

Promes has already scored 10 goals this season for FC Twente and is widely tipped for an eventual call up to the full Netherlands national side in the near future. Newcastle have been impressed with Promes, who has scored 10 goals in just 21 games for Twente this season in the league.

It is understood that FC Twente will listen to any offers in the region of 7.5 million Euros in the summer transfer window.
