Barcelona's veteran shot-stopper Victor Valdes has insisted that he is open to a switch to the Premier League during the summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old is expected to leave the Catalans at the end of the season when his contract expires.When asked on a possible move to the Premier League, Valdes was open to admit of his admiration for the league and its clubs.
"I've always identified with your (English) football, the way the supporters live the game and the respect they show they players," The Spaniard said."It is one of the biggest leagues in the world, with the best clubs in the world and, without doubt, it's a very good option for me."
Manchester City have been linked with a switch for the talented goalkeeper in the summer.
