Arsenal tracking Sebastien Jung

Arsenal eye Sebastian Jung as Sagna replacement

19 March 2014 - 12:42

Arsenal are reportedly tracking the progress of Eintracht Frankfurt defender Sebastian Jung, with a view to a summer offer for his services.

  • Chelsea make first move to sign Xabi Alonso
  • Chelsea ready new contract for star midfielder

  • According to the London Evening Standard, French right-back Bacary Sagna looks set to leave the North London club at the end of the season, after snubing a two-year deal worth £75,000-a-week.

Sagna is understood to be unwilling to accept anything less than a three-year deal with a weekly wage structure of around £75,000 and this is likely to tempt the Gunners manager in making a summer move for Jung, who is keen on playing Champions League football.

Arsenal are currently 3rd in the Premier League standings.
