Arsenal make £2m bid for Iranian starlet

Arsenal have reportedly made a £2 million offer for highly-rated Rubin Kazan youngster Sardar Azmoun, according to Metro.

  • The talented forward who made the switch to the Russian outfit from Sepahan in January 2013, has established himself as one of the regulars at the club under manager manager Vladimir Maminov this season.

     

    19-year-old Azmoun, dubbed as the 'Iranian Lionel Messi' is believed to have attracted interest from a host of top European clubs including the likes of AC Milan and Juventus in recent weeks.

     

    However, The Metro claims that Arsenal have taken the initiative and made an bid of around £2m for the player's services.

     

    Azmoun has scored 2 goals in 11 appearances for Rubin in all competitions this season so far.
