Chelsea ahave reportedly joined the race for the services of Benfica forward Rodrigo in the summer, according to The People.
The talented striker has been linked with a summer exit from the Primeira Liga giants with the likes of Liverpool, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur interested in acquiring his signature.
The People claims that the Blues boss Jose Mourinho had sent scouts to monitor the 23-year-old during Benfica's Europa League clash with AZ Alkmaar on Thursday.
Rodrigo had an unsuccesful loan stint with Bolton Wanderers three seasons ago, but his form with the Eagles has been superb from there in, having scored an impressive tally of 38 goals in 69 appearances.
