Celtic eye move for Man Utd youngster

Celtic are reportedly interested in landing the signature of Manchester United forward Nick Powell in the summer transfer window.

  • The 20-year-old has spent the entire season on loan with Championship outfit Wigan Athetic and is deemed to be surplus to requirements at the Red Devils.

     

    According to Sunday Mail, The Hoops boss Neil Lennon admitted that he did attend the FA Cup semi-final between Arsenal and Wigan, but did not mention the particular player he was tracking on.

     

    "We are looking now to build for the Champions League qualifiers," He said. "I was at Arsenal vs. Wigan last weekend, looking at a couple of players down there and some of the staff are away looking at potential targets."

     

    "Powell joined United from Crewe Alexandra in the summer of 2012.
