Manchester United are rumoured to be interested in signing Roma midfielder Kevin Strootman in the summer, should Louis van Gaal become their next manager.
Widespread reports have claimed that the 62-year-old is all set to takeover the reigns at Old Trafford for the next campaign, and will look to bolster the club's midfield setup by making a move for Strootman.
Strootman would have played a vital role for the Netherlands during this summer's World Cup finals in Brazil, but a knee injury ruled him out of contention.
However, the 24-year-old is expected to return to full fitness ahead of the start of the next Premier League season.
