Hughes no to England rumours

Hughes no to England rumours

27 November 2007 - 20:31

Blackburn boss Mark Hughes has moved to reject rumours that he has had a clause inserted in his contract that would allow him to move away from the club immediately should an international side - such as England - were to enquire in his services.

  • Enzo Fernandez wants to leave Chelsea
  • Man Utd set to hold contract talks with experienced star
  • "There is no such clause - I have no idea where this has come from," Hughes told Blackburn's official website.

"I said before and after the Fulham match that in maybe ten, fifteen years I'd possible look at international management again.

"But I'm certainly not looking at an international job at the moment, I'm happy with the job I've got."
