Liverpool boss wants Swansea City shot-stopper

11 May 2014 - 09:08

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers is reportedly keen on securing the services of Swansea City goalkeeper Michel Vorm this summer, according to The Mirror.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
  • The talented Netherlands international is believed to be eager on stepping up to a bigger challenge next season, and is likely to leave the Swans at the end of the season.

The Mirror claims that Reds boss Brendan Rodgers is keen to team up with his former shot-stopper once more this summer, as he aims to provide competition to current number one Simon Mignolet, with the Merseyside outfit poised for a tougher schedule next season following their qualification to the Champions League.

A bid in the region of £7m could be sufficient to land the signature of the former Utrecht man.
