Derby County's former manager Billy Davies has put himself forward as a potential front runner for the vacant Scotland job. Davies left Derby by 'mutual consent' in midweek after concerns over County's performance.
"I'm very open to listen to anything that is offered or put on the table," the former Motherwell and Derby coach told BBC Sport.
"I'm not ruling anything out. If somebody wants to talk to me I will listen and then make a decision.
"The Scotland job is one you don't apply for - the Scottish Football Association know exactly who they want to put in place and the type of man they're looking for.
"You'd be flattered if you can get your name down for it, but everybody in Scotland would want to manage the national team and that would always be the case."
