Liverpool will reportedly make a £12m bid for Bayer Leverkusen midfielder Emre Can this summer, according to The People.

The Reds manager Brendan Rodgers is keen on signing up a top-class midfielder in the summer, as the club prepare to play with the Europe's elite in the Champions League.

 

Reports claim that Rodgers wants to replace Lucas Leiva and has been impressed by Emre Can's displays in the Bundesliga this season.

 

Adding to this, Can's versatility to play at either left-back, centre midfield or in attacking midfield, could make him the perfect fit for the Merseyside club.
