German internationals involved in car accident

Two German international players have been involved in a car accident in Northern Italy. Benedikt Hoewedes and Julian Draxler came out of the incident unscathed and will remain a part of Germany's squad.

The two had been driving in Northern Italy in a car behind Nico Rosberg before the accident took place.

An investigation is under way and Nico Rosberg's team Mercedes Motor Sport have promised to work with the authorities to understand more about the matter.
