Yaya Toure laughs off talk of PSG move

Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure has refused to be drawn on speculation linking him with a move to Paris St Germain. The Man City star apparently told reporters that he wanted to quit England for a move to Ligue 1.

  • Yaya Toure was hugely influential during Man City's title winning campaign last season and is now apparently ready to live the Etihad Stadium in favour of a move to Paris.

"I want to take advantage of this opportunity to put things into context. It's very important. I simply said that it was nice to be a player who is quite coveted, and it was an honour to play for PSG," said the hard working midfielder.

"The media took what I said out of context. For the moment, there's nothing planned. Too many things have been said, that annoyed me."
