West Ham have made a bid for Racing Genk striker Jelle Vossen. The 25-year-old scored an impressive 19 goals for his Belgian club last season and is now set to make the step up to the Premier League.

Vossen is said to be gutted that he missed out on a place in the World Cup squad with Belgium, despite already having 12 caps for the national team. Vossen is valued at around 15 million Euros by Genk.

The Hammers have already agreed a deal to sign Argentine forward Mauro Zarate, who penned a 3 year contract last week.
