AS Roma to move for Tottenham Hotspur striker

Soldado wanted at Roma

AS Roma to move for Tottenham Hotspur striker

04 June 2014 - 07:02

Tottenham Hotspur forward Roberto Soldado is reportedly considered as a top target for Italian giants AS Roma this summer.

  • Man Utd expecting €80m boost with double player sale
  • Confirmed Liverpool line-up (4-2-3-1) vs Galatasaray, Salah starts

  • Soldado, who joined Spurs last summer from Valencia for £26 million, failed to display the form for which he was once known for. According to Tutto Mercato, the Capital club are monitoring the player's transfer situation, and could make a summer switch for his services.

"The player's re-sale value has obviously dropped due to a poor season by his standards. However, Roma were keen on him when he was at Valencia and nothing has changed their mind." A source close to the club said.
