Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari praised star forward Neymar after the Barcelona frontman grabbed two goals and put in a match winning performance in the 3-1 win over Croatia.

  • Neymar scored an excellent 20 yard finish against Croatia and wrapped up the three points with a penalty. Neymar received special praise from the Brazilian media after the opening day victory.

    "He (Neymar) doesn’t need all of you (the media) to demand that he become the best player in the world. His responsibility is to play for Brazil, and that’s what he did today," said Scolari.
