Liverpool open up interest in Daley Blind

Liverpool have reportedly shown interest in signing Netherlands star Daley Blind from Ajax this summer.

  • The talented holding midfielder was in top form during the Dutch's 5-1 thrashing of Spain, where he provided two assists.

    According to Metro, Liverpool have joined Manchester United in the pursuit of the 24-year-old.

    In addition to this, the Reds have made contact with Ajax over the potential transfer and are willing to pay as much as £12m for his services.

    Blind initially started his career as a left-back, but transformed himself into a defensive midfielder under manager Frank de Boer.
