Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo wore a brace on his left knee in training today ahead of his country's crucial World Cup tie against the United States.

Ronaldo has suffered with tendinitis this season in his knee and had been risked during the 4-0 mauling by Germany.

The Real Madrid star has told reporters that he will play against the USA.
