Everton are reportedly readying a summer offer for Greece striker Georgios Samaras, according to Evening Times.

  • The talented striker, who is currently plying his trade with the Greek national side, is out of contract having left Celtic at the end of the season.

    A report from Evening Times claims that Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is monitoring the striker's performances in the World Cup, as he tries to boost his attack front ahead of the next campaign.

    Samaras scored the winning penalty against Cote d'Ivoire to send Greece into the knock-out stage of the World Cup.
