Real Madrid to bid for Raheem Sterling

La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly set to make a summer offer for the services of Liverpool winger Raheem Sterling, according to The Mirror.

  • The talented youngster was in top form for the Reds last season, as they finished runners-up to Manchester City in the Premier League. The 19-year-old was one of the positives to take by for the England national side, who had a torrid time in the World Cup finals in Brazil as they were knocked out in the group stages.

    A report from The Mirror claims that Los Blancos are now prepared to test Liverpool's resolve by making a summer bid of around £25m for the Jamaican-born England international.

    Sterling notched up nine goals in 33 games for the Merseyside giants last season.
