Italian giants AS Roma will complete a move for Lille defender Marko Basa this week. The defender will arrive at the Serie A club for a fee of approximately 5 million Euros.
The 31-year-old Montenegro international has been chosen by AS Roma manager Rudi Garcia as the replacement for the outgoing Mehdi Benatia, who has been linked with a move to Manchester City in recent weeks.
Basa has been with Lille since 2011, where he was in fact coached by current Roma manager Garcia. Prior to that he had spells playing for Le Mans and Lokomotiv Moscow.
