Thomas Muller talks up German World Cup chances

04 July 2014 - 04:40

Germany and Bayern Munich midfielder Thomas Muller has talked up his country's chances of success at the World Cup. Germany face France in today's crunch Quarter Final clash.

  • Chelsea plan shock swoop for Sporting CP star
  • Chelsea have clear stance on signing Victor Osimhen

  • The Bayern midfielder has told reporters that Germany's team of the 2010 World Cup is nowhere near as good as the one of 2014.

"We are much better than back then, it would be ridiculous to insist otherwise," said Muller.

"We did not have the quality to bring through our match. We had to sit deep and wait for the counters. Against Argentina we chased (Lionel) Messi with three players."
