Enzo Perez to Manchester United?

Manchester United have reportedly tabled a bid for Argentine midfielder Enzo Perez.

  • Juventus and Roma to battle for 20yo Arsenal star
  • Chelsea defender confirms decision to leave club

  • Enzo was heavily pursued by Valencia with the Spanish side agreeing to the £23.7 million release clause but with Louis Van Gaal reinforcing the midfield, the Red Devils might just win the deal.

Enzo currently plays for Benfica who completed a domestic treble in Portugal last season and were the finalists in the Europa League. Pérez was integral to this success and was also named the Player of the Season.

Valencia had reportedly agreed to the release clause and a deal after the World Cup was rumoured to have been completed. They now face stiff competition from the Premier League side.

Enzo has commented that he had already renewed his contract before the World Cup had begun and will follow what the club decides for him.

He is currently with the Argentine squad in Brazil and will face Netherlands in the semifinals of the World Cup.
