West Ham have been told that they must increase their bid for winger Yevhen Konoplyanka if they want to sign the Ukrainian international. The player has a 15 million euro release clause in his contract.
The Hammers are hoping to make the 24-year-old their marquee signing this summer transfer window, beating the likes of Liverpool and Newcastle to the Dnipro man's signing.
Konoplyanka still has a further three years remaining on his deal in his homeland but is especially excited about the prospect of playing in the Premier League. Hammers manager Sam Allardyce has already had representatives of the club fly in to the Ukraine to discuss a deal with Dnipro.
