Athletic Bilbao is reportedly seeking a loan move for Real Madrid midfielder Asier Illarramendi.
Bilbao's midfielder Ander Herrera has completed his transfer to Manchester United, so the Spanish side is looking for players who can fill his position.
Illarramendi played rarely for the first-team and he will surely get more first-team chances with Bilbao with a temporary transfer. Coach Carlo Ancelotti is ready to give up the striker as he will get more first-team experience which will ultimately benefit the Madrid side.
The midfelder played for Bilbao’s bitter rivals Real Sociedad prior to his switch to the Santiago Bernabeu last summer.
He won the Champions League and Copa del Ray titles with the Los Blancos last season.
