Chelsea have officially confirmed the capture of Diego Costa from Atletico Madrid for an undisclosed fee.
The 25-year-old's departure from Atleti was imminent over the past few weeks, following an agreement over the transfer between both clubs.
It is now believed that the Brazilian-born Spain international has penned a five-year deal at the West London club for a fee in the region of £32m.
Here's what Costa had to say on the transfer : "I am very happy to sign for Chelsea. Everybody knows it is a big club in a very competitive league, and I am very excited to get started in England with a fantastic coach and teammates,"
"I would like to thank everybody at Atletico who made me into the player I am, it was an incredible time for me, but now I am starting a new adventure and I hope to win many trophies with Chelsea."
Costa notched up 35 goals in 44 appearances for the Basque club last season.
