Emmanuel Riviere set for Newcastle transfer

24-year-old striker Emmanuel Riviere is on the cusp of completing a transfer to Newcastle United. The striker has apparently wrapped up a £6.4 million deal away from Monaco.

Riviere has been one of Alan Pardew's top targets this summer and the Toon Army coach will be delighted to have finally wrapped up a deal for the coveted forward.

Monaco have an array of forwards at their disposal and  have decided that Lacina Traore alongside Riviere are available for transfer.

Newcastle will beat West Brom, Stoke City and Burnley to Riveire's signature.
