Tottenham to offer Vertonghen bumper new contract

Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy wants to offer Belgium defender Jan Vertonghen a brand new five year contract to stay at White Hart Lane. The defender will earn a £90,000 salary if he agrees to the deal.

  • Barcelona are amongst the teams who have shown interest in the centre back and are also believed to have made a formal enquiry for the player.

    Vertonghen is set to double his salary if he agrees to the terms of his new deal.
