Fernando Meira has remained tight-lipped on reports that Harry Redknapp is lining up a January transfer move to bring the Portuguese defender from Stuttgart to Portsmouth in January.
"All I know is what I have read in the papers. I have not spoken to the English club," the 29-year-old told skysports.
Stuttgart have also confirmed they have not received any approach for the Portugal defender.
"We have received no formal offer for Meira. At this moment this is only a rumour," said a club spokesman.
