Gareth Barry has said that he believes that the Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill will definitely have a few new additions to his squad lined up for the January transfer window. O'Neill has admitted his squad depth is a concern.

"It doesn't take a lot of working out - a few injuries and suspensions and we will be a bit short," Barry told the club's website.



"January will be interesting. I am sure the manager has got a few things lined up.



"It is a long season even if we're not in Europe, so hopefully a few will come in in January."
