Bayern Munich star Xherdan Shaqiri has dropped a Twitter hint that he could be on his way to Anfield.
The Metro report that the Swiss international favourited a tweet that suggested Rodgers make a move for the Bayern Munich man.
Shaqiri has been cagey about his future since the World Cup and has been quoted as saying: "It is the time of year when much is written, but as we all know, there is very little truth behind it. As you all know I am currently on holiday so I am not in talks with other clubs nor have I spoken with any journalists."

With the 2012-1013 Champions League title under his career belt and numerous other titles such as the 2012-3013 and 2013-2014 Bundesliga championship, he has tons of experience and the ability to deliver on big stages. It would be a big boost to the Merseyside side if they are able to wrap up a deal to acquire his services.
