Oscar Cardozo nears Trabzonspor move

Paraguayan international striker Oscar Cardozo is close to wrapping up a deal to join Turkish side Trabzonspor. The club will pay a reported 5.15 million euros for the 31-year-old striker.

The 6 foot 4 striker, who has been with his current club Benfica since 2007, is on the verge of a move elsewhere after being told by the Portuguese champions that he is free to leave the club this summer.

Cardozo played a limited role in Benfica's league success last campaign, scoring just 7 goals in 15 games, and is now set to join Trabzonspor as their star summer signing.
