Manchester City have finally agreed a transfer for Eliaquim Mangala, despite concerns that financial Fair Play rules could jeopardise a move for the French international centre back.

  • City's move for Porto centre back Mangala is one of the worst kept secrets in football at the moment and the defender has apparently already agreed a transfer to the Etihad Stadium.

Porto have accepted a massive 38.85 million euro bid for Mangala and City's only concern is that a transfer for the defender could cost them big in the future if they break financial Fair Play rules.

City are currently waiting to sell one more of their players to secure funding for a deal for Mangala, having already sold Jack Rodwell to Sunderland, Scott Sinclair is reportedly expected to join his former club Swansea City in the coming days.
