West Bromwich Albion are to make a bid for Atalanta midfielder Carlos Carmona. The Chilean is set to arrive for talks with the Birmingham side this week.
It is understood WBA have had a fee of 2.5 million euros accepted by Atalanta and now Carmona needs to agree personal terms and undergo a medical before a transfer can be completed.
Carmona, who has 45 caps to his name for the Chilean national side, is said to be looking for a move to England, where recent arrivals of international team mates Alexis Sanchez, Mauricio Isla and Eduardo Vargas have boosted the profile of the Premier League in the South American country.
