Dutch midfielder Marco van Ginkel has hinted that he could return to Chelsea after his loan spell at AC Milan this season.
The talented youngster was monitored by the Rossoneri for most of the summer before eventually joining the Serie A giants on a temporary basis.
However, the 21-year-old is now optimistic that he can be a success at Stamford Bridge in years to come.
"AC Milan wanted me for a long time and did everything to get me," He said. "That is good for a player to know. We play with two attacking midfielders and a defensive one. I think I am more of an attacking one. "
"Right now I am focused entirely on Milan, but I'm happy with the fact that Chelsea didn't put an option to buy in the loan."
Van Ginkel made just four appearances for the West London club last season.
