England international James Milner has revealed that he is in talks over a new contract with Manchester City.

The 28-year-old's current contract at the Etihad expires at the end of the season.

Having already made nine appearances for the club this season, the former Aston Villa star expects to prolong his stay at the Mancunian giants, Goal.com reports.

"We've been in talks with the club," He said. "We've talked about it and hopefully it can get sorted sometime soon."

Milner joined City from Aston Villa in the summer of 2010.
