Seattle Sounders defender DeAndre Yedlin has hinted that he could make a potential switch to White Hart Lane as early as January.
The USA international attracted interest from Spurs following an impressive showing at the World Cup finals in Brazil over the summer.
Having signed for the North London outfit during the summer transfer window, the 21-year-old decided to stay with the MLS side for the season.
However, injuries to Kyle Walker and Kyle Naughton could accelerate his move to Spurs.
"A big deciding factor is my passport - I'm working on getting a Latvian passport," He said. "If that goes through, then January is definitely very possible. It's either June or January."
