Manchester United are set to join Arsenal in the race for Schalke midfield sensation Julian Draxler, according to The Express.

The German international has been associated with a move to the Premier League over the past year, with the Gunners failing to secure his services in January.

However, The Express claims that United will join the pursuit for the talented midfielder, who is currently recovering from a hamstring injury.

The report adds that the former Premier League champions would require a fee of around £35m in order to land the player's signature.
