Schalke 04 sporting director Horst Heldt has rejected speculation linking the club with a move for German international Lukas Podolski in the winter transfer window.
Podolski has failed to make a league start for Arsenal this season, and this had spread rumours over a switch away from the Emirates, with Schalke considered as his next destination.
However, Heldt has dismissed the claims insisting that the player will not be heading to Gelsenkirchen in the New Year.
Podolski has made a solitary start for the Gunners in the League cup this season.
