Glen Johnson open to Liverpool exit

01 December 2014 - 03:13

England international Glen Johnson could be heading out of Liverpool, according to a report.

  • Juventus and Napoli enter race for Chelsea winger
  • Felix Nmecha linked with Chelsea move
  • The talented right-back has featured regularly for the Reds in recent weeks, but his future at the Merseyside looks bleak.

Glen Johnson told Sky Sports that his stay at Liverpool could well be coming to an end having yet to be offered an extension to his existing deal which expires at the end of the season.

"I have enjoyed the majority of the six years; I've had some good times and some bad times, but if I haven't got a contract then I can't stay," He said.

"I want to play for a club that wants me - I am not going to go crawling to anybody. The club know where I am and they know the situation. There were minor talks at the end of last season but nothing I could accept or reject."

Johnson has been linked with a January move to Serie A giants AS Roma.
