West Brom plot move for Roland Alberg

01 December 2014 - 03:15

West Bromwich Albion have been linked with a transfer move for Dutch attacking midfielder Roland Alberg. The 24-year-old ADO Den Haag player has had an impressive campaign in the Eredivisie so far this season.

  • Chelsea to move for former Arsenal goalkeeper?
  • Former Chelsea boss to replace Erik ten Hag at Man Utd?

  • WBA have sent a scout to prepare a full dossier on the midfielder's recent progress and have sent glowing references back to club manager Alan Irvine. West Brom chairman Jeremy Peace will offer a large budget for new players in the January transfer window and Alberg appears to be one name at the top of the club's transfer wish list.

Alberg is valued at a fee of around 4.75 million euros and ADO Den Haag are confident that a deal can be agreed in the January transfer window for the player's sale to the Premier League side.
