Tottenham have been dealt a bitter blow this afternoon as reports from Denmark suggest that star attacking midfielder Christian Eriksen has rejected a new contract.
Eriksen has been one of Tottenham's best players since his arrival at White Hart Lane from Ajax and the club had hoped to tie the Danish international down to a new five year deal.
However, it is understood that Eriksen is frustrated with the club's progress in recent months and has turned down a new contract at the club.
Both Paris St Germain and Manchester United have been linked with a move for the attacking midfielder.
